The first step for us was signing up, and here we signed up using our e-mail address; we received a letter and verified our address through it.
Then, on the main dashboard page, we clicked a “Characters” button and decided to create our own. With another click on the “Create character” button, and we started to fill in some information about our future character: name, nickname, biography prompt, first message, picture. Then we set visibility to private and left empty the voice training field. We also left knowledge sources empty due to the free plan’s feature limit.
Here we go, Alexander the Great! Another historical emperor as a chatbot. We really had a fun conversation even without knowledge sources inserted.
In the settings of this chat, we found a way to add some other characters to our conversation. There also were additional chat settings, such as conversation context and persona.

To be honest, I’ve been using chatfai for quite a long while, and I’ve enjoyed it thus far! However, with this new recent update I’m not exactly liking it too much.. I liked the old website better. Even if they don’t change the website back, I wish there was a possibility to at least go back to the old one! I’ve been experiencing these glitches between the old and the new website. If there is no new website, then perhaps there should be a change in the system.. 😓

Bottom line, the platform is great until you have more than 10 replies. Support does not exist and the users are toxic. The dev’s are also dishonest. I can dev this platform in 2 weeks to work on mobile. They’ve “apparently” been doing it for months. In that time they’ve abandoned support for anyone actually paying for the platform. In september / october 2024 I submitted a request for support, the paid features I was paying for were not working as stated. When I raised this in the discord some helped, some attacked…as time went on there were more attacks to me and anyone critical or questioning the features. Every month, same thing, “we are dealing with it, we care, bla bla” – nothing happens, not even a check in to see if the platform is better/worse. Nothing. I follow up, they say the same thing. But I followed up on the 10th feb and was attacked and insulted by support, essentially suggesting they’ve got other things on and I am being selfish. I show that in the discord and the dev’s, posing as users, insulted and tried to discredit me. There is a simple fact: Chatfai sells you on a list of features that do not work. I have been raising that, been told they are working on it for 6 months. But they’re not working on it. They’re charging more than ChatGPT for a faulty product while lying about developing a mobile app. Meantime they attack people who want the full service they paid for. Don’t use Chatfai unless you want to spend time on the platform, realise it’s not really there to work and it’s just some unethical dev’s pocket money. And support does not support, they insult and lie.

I was expecting 120 chats, but I only got one—what’s going on? Every time I tried to sign up, it kept taking me to the login page instead. Super frustrating. Also, I’m looking for an AI that’s immersive, not boring, and gives me more than just one chat. Right now, ChatFAI doesn’t deliver on any of that. Please fix it.
