D-ID’s hidden non-rollover policy and lack of flexibility, especially during hardships, make it a poor choice for individual users.
I had a disappointing experience with D-ID. They charged me over $100 for less than 5 minutes of video, and they don’t allow roll-over credits – a fact they hide in their terms of service rather than making it clear up front. As most people don’t have time to comb through terms of service, this feels misleading. Despite the recent natural disasters here in Florida, they still refuse to refund me. It seems like they’re profiting off of individuals who may not have the corporate resources to complete projects within their strict timelines. In my opinion, this is poor business practice, and I’d advise others to consider alternatives
