I used Notion to organise the notes and pages for my web projects. It keeps long documents tidy and linking pages together is simple. It can feel heavy when you only want a quick note, and there is a learning curve at the start, but for a growing pile of project notes it does the job well.
Canva is where I make simple designs when I need something to look proper without hiring a designer. The templates and drag and drop editor are easy even for a beginner. The free version covers most small jobs, though the best elements and sizes sit behind the paid plan.
I use ChatGPT for quick questions, drafts and checking ideas when I am researching a topic. It answers fast and explains things in simple words, which helps because I am not very technical. Sometimes it sounds more sure than it should, so I verify anything important somewhere else before acting on it.
I use Claude daily to design Pinterest pins and plan content for my small web project. Give it a detailed brief and it follows instructions better than any other assistant I have tried, especially on long creative tasks. The free plan limits how much you can do in one sitting, so big jobs need pacing. For careful, detailed work it is the first tool I open.
