Sitemap Submission

We use Google Search Console for sitemap submission on hproxy.com. When new pages go into a sitemap, one command resubmits it through the Search Console API, and for a sitemap Google already knows, that simply asks Google to read the file again. The Sitemaps report then shows how many URLs Google read and flags any file it could not fetch. For single pages we check URL Inspection, which tells us whether a page is indexed or only discovered. It costs nothing and the data comes from Google itself, so we have never needed a second tool for this.
